چکیده
Coconut husk, rubberwood sawdust, and palm leaf base are cellulosic agricultural wastes that have potential to be processed fiber as absorbing material. This study investigated characteristics (morphological, physiological properties, chemical composition, absorption capacity, water isotherms) of coconut, rubberwood, fiber. Also, the aimed develop an antimicrobial sachet packaging resist against foodborne pathogens (Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli) by adding lime oil (LO) emulsion or Litsea cubeba (LC) at 50 700 µL into material (1 g) before, then dried placed in 1-L seal box. Results showed among three, coconut performed best terms releasing essential (EO) bacteria. could adsorb release volatile LO LC lowest concentrations (LO, 500 µL/L; LC, 300 µL/L) inhibit bacteria compared with other fibers (700 35 °C. indicated has a low rate, which influenced faster adsorption EO beginning process; therefore, using for bacterial inhibition is possible. contains 34.5% lignin, 68.7% holocellulose, 37.6% cellulose, 31.2% hemicellulose. suitable alternative biocomposite developing new design.

Development Of Active Packaging With Antimicrobial Activity
Chitosan films incorporated with various concentrations of gallic acid were prepared and investigated for antimicrobial, mechanical, physical and structural properties. Four bacterial strains that commonly contaminate food products were chosen as target bacteria to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of the prepared gallic acid-chitosan films. The incorporation of gallic acid significantly incr...

متن کاملMicromechanism Based Material Models for Natural Fiber Composites
In tensile tests the PP/flax fiber composites clearly shows a nonlinear behavior in loading and hystheresis loops in unloading. In creep tests performed at different load levels the response was nonlinear viscoelastic, and after recovery, viscoplastic strains were detected. No degradation in stiffness could be seen and thus nonlinear viscoelasticity and viscoplasticity were assumed to be the ma...
